1999 HSV VT series 2 XU6 in Charnwood, ACT. For sale is my HSV XU6 #004. I have had this car since 2008 and have enjoyed it very much, however it is time to part ways for a new project that has come up and as such I am looking for an urgent sale. It is a very low km example and mechanically well sorted with no expense spared. The car features a completely reconditioned engine which was installed 5000km ago including all new bearings, gapless piston rings, gaskets and seals as well as an XP Hot cam, double row timing chain, 105lb valve springs, kalmaker tune and 82mm pulley upgrade. A rebuilt stage 2 gearbox by Race Shift in Melbourne has been installed for smoother and quicker shifts. A new radiator was also installed with the engine and all rubber hoses replaced at the same time. The interior comes with custom leather seats and Pioneer head unit as well HSV floor mats. It recently had a new ignition barrel installed and a remote starting kit which works off the cars keys is also fitted (great for letting the car warm up on those cold mornings)Also included is rego till July and an original leather HSV case with manual. The XU6 is a very rare car and with it supercharged V6 is the perfect mix of performance and economy. Price reduced to sell, includes 3months roadside assist free as bonus to new owner.
